Emma is Caliche Ridge Health's automated HR applicant phone assistant. It answers the published HR applicant line 24/7, including after business hours. During a call, if you ask Emma about current openings, how to apply, licensure or credential requirements, benefits basics, onboarding logistics, or an HR contact number, Emma may offer to send you that information in a text message so you do not have to write it down.
How you opt in (call to action)
Opt-in happens verbally, during your live phone call, and only at your request. This is what happens on the call:
- You call the Caliche Ridge Health HR applicant line and ask Emma a question, for example "How do I apply for a nursing position?"
- Emma answers, then asks: "Would you like me to text that information to the number you are calling from? Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out."
- If you say yes, Emma sends one text message (occasionally two) with the information to the phone number you are calling from.
- If you say no, or do not answer, no message is sent and Emma does not ask again on that call.
There is no sign-up form and no subscription. Consent is requested and given on each call, and Emma cannot send a message to any number other than the one you are calling from. You will never receive a text from this program unless you asked for it on a call.

Caller: “How do I apply for the CNA job?”
Emma: “You can apply on the Careers page. Would you like me to text that link to the number you are calling from? Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to any message to opt out.”
Caller: “Yes, please.”
Emma: “It is on its way.”
Delivered message: “Caliche Ridge Health Careers: search openings and apply at careers.calicheridgehealth.com. Application help: Recruiting 432-555-0100, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Reply STOP to opt out.”
